When it comes to fitness and health, the working out part is typically the easiest and the hardest part is showing up. In my experience this is the defining factor for getting results. Even a bad workout still counts as a workout.

The food part can be a bit more confusing. With so many foods labelled “healthy” these days, it’s hard to know what to eat and what to avoid. What’s more is that everyone responds to certain nutrition plans in different ways which is why I can only share what works for me.

I follow a low carb, moderate fat, high protein eating plan. I find that my body responds well to this type of eating and I’ve gotten great results aesthetically too.

I recently discovered a new Icelandic-style yogurt called Siggi’s that is now part of my routine and post workout nutrition. What makes this yogurt my go-to is that it’s very low sugar, low sodium and it has a high protein content. Each serving has 8 grams of protein which makes it easy to up your protein intake with each thick and creamy, delicious spoonful. If you’re always on the go and need quick fuel to power your day and workout, I suggest adding this Icelandic-style yogurt to your routine.
