TRAVEL: WALPER HOTEL

Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Canadians!

I think it’s safe to say that Fall seems to be everyone’s favorite season of the year. The weather is just right, nature looks its best and everyone’s style game begins to step up. Simple routine things like grabbing a coffee and heading out for a neighbourhood stroll are just a bit more enjoyable this time of  year.

The Fall is also a time when I like to further explore my province. Enter The Walper Hotel, a boutique hotel I found 1hr + 20 minutes outside of Toronto. The Walper Hotel is a historic building that’s been renovated with a contemporary interior vibe. From the lobby to the hotel bar, every space has a high end feel but cozy + inviting at the same time. Our room was spacious & filled with natural light. The staff was super friendly and I really enjoyed that I was able to text the concierge directly if I had any questions or requests. It was the perfect spot to kick back and mentally recharge before heading into a busy work week.

The weather that day was unreal so we decided to go for nature hike at nearby trail.  After coming back to the hotel, we decided to shoot some content for our social channels. Even though I was officially “off” from work, I love taking photos. It’s a great creative outlet and one of the best ways for me to come back feeling inspired. At the end our day, we found a local brewery with an awesome patio – The Abe Erb. We sat with a cold pint each and just chilled as we watched the sun go down.
